Harriett McCoy graduated from the University of South Carolina, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She then spent her time working as a lobbyist, an auctioneers commissioner, and later a REALTOR.

Many of us at CARTER Realty have worked with Harriett over the past 20 years, going  back to our days of working together at Bob Capes Realty, Russell & Jeffcoat Real Estate, and later at CARTER Realty. She was always smiling and projecting a positive attitude regardless of the challenge. She is remembered by all who knew her as a shining light, always loyal, always cooperative, and above all, always upbeat. We miss Harriett, not only as an experienced colleague, but also as a friend.
