Margaret-Ann Ashburn's philosophy in life is "Whatever role you take in life, do it the best you possibly can."

Her background includes a career as writer and illustrator for magazines, newspapers and locally-published books, as well as part owner and manager of three successful city magazines. Her 40-year career in real estate includes five years as Marketing Director for Russell & Jeffcoat. She helped many agents develop a marketing strategy that helped them achieve the next level of success in their careers. She was Broker-in-Charge of Russell & Jeffcoat's Forest Acres Office, which became Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, for 16 years. Her focus was on helping 40+ agents achieve their goals and the goals of their clients.
She and her husband, Tom, who is now retired, were among the first real estate teams in the Midlands and were the first Realtors in Columbia to have their own website. She is the recipient of numerous sales and listing awards and is a Life Member of the Columbia Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence.
Married with 5 beautiful children and nine very special grandchildren, Margaret-Ann is active in the community. She is a member of Women in Philanthropy and the Sierra Club, Forest Acres Rotary Club, Forest Acres Neighborhood Association and Forest Acres Merchant's Association.
